Stone Ridge, New York

A limited collection of three architectural homes, on a wooded ridge in Stone Ridge — designed and built as one composition.

Ninety minutes to Manhattan, door-to-door via the Thruway. Twenty minutes from Kingston. A wooded clearing, on a road you’d otherwise pass.

HighFell is the first. Two more residences follow, each named in turn.

The land, photographed

The land came first. The houses answer it.

A layered range to the west. A wooded clearing that keeps the quiet. A road that gives nothing away. At four in the morning it is only wind, and the occasional owl — real ground, photographed, not imagined.

Releasing in sequence

HighFell opens first. Two more to follow.

Three residences along one ridgeline, released one at a time — so each keeps its distance. HighFell, on the highest clearing, is first to open.
